To access the surgical site your surgeon introduces miniaturized\u00a0<em>EndoWrist\u00a0<\/em>instruments through few tiny incisions. These instruments help your surgeon perform the procedure with precision and control. Your surgeon uses master controls that function similar to forceps and in turn\u00a0<em>da Vinci<\/em>\u00ae responds by immediate translation of surgeon\u2019s directions into precise movements of miniaturized instruments.<\/p>\n<p>Robotic surgery has become a treatment option in urological, gynecological, and numerous general surgical procedures. \u00a0The\u00a0<em>da Vinci\u00ae<\/em>\u00a0surgical system is used to treat a range of gynaecologic conditions including uterine cancer, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, uterine prolapse and menorrhagia (excessive bleeding).
